  9. There are two parts to this package - a `user' part, which is found in this
  10. directory, and a `programmer' part for programmers wishing to write programs
  11. which utilise the module found in the subdirectory Programmer.

  26. You need to merge the supplied !System with your own version in order
  27. to drop the Toolbox modules into your !System.  Either use !SysMerge
  28. or for Risc PCs, use the !Boot application on your main hard disc.

  30. Run the !Installer program and follow the instructions.  The configuration
  31. file (resconf) will be automatically generated and placed in the Internet
  32. configuration file directory, provided it can be found.  (You need to
  33. have let the Filer `see' your Internet software).  If using the built-in
  34. Acorn TCP/IP stack, then you need to run InetSetup after installing
  35. DNSResolver in order to get your configuration files updated so that
  36. the module starts automatically on boot up.

  39. Running DNSResolver
  40. ===================

  42. Load DNSResolver as soon as your have loaded your TCP/IP stack module
  43. from System:Modules.Network.DNSResolve.   If you have used !InetSetup
  44. (the configuration program in RISC OS 3.7 also available from the Network
  45. option on the !Boot program), then you need do nothing, since that will
  46. do it for you.

  48. That's it.  If you have software which is testing for the presence of
  49. the InetDB module, then copy the InetDB module supplied to your
  50. system directory.  THIS IS A DUMMY MODULE AND DOESN'T DO ANYTHING.
  51. You may want to keep the original InetDB safe somewhere first.
